1. Scope

This Payment Policy applies to all customers, distributors, retailers, institutional buyers, and partners purchasing perishable goods from Farm Store Private Limited.

2. Nature of Business

As we deal in perishable agricultural and food products, timely payment is critical to maintain freshness, supply chain efficiency, and operational sustainability.

3. Payment Terms

A. Advance Payment (Preferred Model)

  • 100% advance payment before dispatch of goods.

  • Order confirmation will be processed only after payment receipt.

B. Credit Terms (Approved Customers Only)

  • Credit period: 3 to 7 days maximum from invoice date.

  • Credit facility is subject to:

    • Management approval

C. Institutional / Bulk Orders

  • Minimum 50% advance

  • Balance upon loading of goods.

4. Mode of Payment

We accept:

  • Bank Transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS)

  • UPI Payments

  • Account Payee Cheque

  • Approved Digital Payment Platforms

Cash transactions above regulatory limits will not be accepted.

5. Late Payment Policy

Due to the perishable nature of goods:

  • A late fee of 2% per month may be applied on outstanding dues.

  • Supply will be suspended immediately if payment exceeds agreed credit period.

  • Repeated delays may lead to permanent cancellation of credit facility.

6. Delivery & Ownership

  • Goods are dispatched only after payment clearance unless approved credit terms apply.

  • Ownership of goods remains with Farm Store Private Limited until full payment is received.

7. Return & Dispute Policy

Since products are perishable:

  • Claims for damage or quality issues must be raised within 6 hours of delivery.

  • No returns accepted after 24 hours of delivery.

  • Claims must include photo/video proof.

8. Security Deposit (If Applicable)

For distributors or regular buyers:

  • Refundable security deposit may be required.

  • Adjustments will be made against unpaid dues if necessary.

9. Revision of Policy

Farm Store Private Limited reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice.
